Banff & Lake Louise
Our tour starts with in Calgary, where we will show you the Canada Olympic Park, host of the 1988 World Olympics and current training centre for Olympic athletes around the world. We then travel the scenic route (about one hour) to the Rockies, and cross the beautiful Bow River (Calgary's drinking water supply) many times along the way.
Before we arrive into Banff National Park, we stop for coffee or tea and donuts in the picturesque town of Canmore. Canmore is famous for the "Three Sisters Mountains" and its quaint and spirit-filled community.
Between Canmore and Banff is the heart of the Rocky Mountains. These mountains are around 11,000 feet above sea level and the highway winds through the mountains as we travel to Banff. The glistening snow on the peaks and in the valleys is very spectacular.
